Thorough investigative research is what any RESPONSIBLE and INTELLIGENT entrepreneur should do before accepting the Rippln invitation to start. It doesn’t matter if you heard about it  just a few minutes, days, weeks or even years ago, got a text invite from your buddy or an invitation from a FaceBook friend. Company History

Rippln is headquartered in Melissa, Texas. The company’s address is listed as:  901 Sam Rayburn Hwy Melissa, TX 75454. Wikicorporation lists this location as the same address as the company Bhip Global, Inc. and the Melissa Volunteer Fire Department.

According to the company’s facebook page, it says in was founded in 2012 by a “small group of investors.” Their names are not disclosed on the site. The CEO is Brian Underwood.

The company’s Webarchive date is April 7, 2013.  After doing some more research, I found that marketer Jonathan Budd is also one of the founders, Russell Branson, and Brian Underwood himself.

According to their FaceBook page, there no terms of service and privacy yet because
We are in pre-game mode and are not accepting payment so the Policies and Procedures have not yet been posted or released. Once we officially go live, all of this information will be available on our corporate website.

To look at the opportunity, you sign an electronic non-disclosure agreement (NDA) where you give your name and email address.  In order to register further, you must receive a text invitation from a current member.

Brian Underwood: Rippln CEO, serial entrepreneur from Kentucky; former CEO of iZigg and 90210 mobile. His website states that his goal is “to build a socially-conscious, big data company that will allow the rest of the world to improve and reach their goals right along with him. As far as Brian’s concerned, there is nothing that can’t be achieved together.”

Jonathan Budd: MLM Launch Founder; Co-founder, online marketer and entrepreneur since age 21. His blog claims that he generated 10 million dollars by age 26. He created an event called the Unstoppable Entrepreneur.

Jim Bunch: Co-founder, entrepreneur, member of the Transformational Leadership Council, lives in Del Mar, California

Product Offerings

At this time, Rippln says its products will involve three technology trends:  Gamification, Social Networking and Mobile Connections. It is also a new app that is powered by an enabling technology.  The company is focused on ”driving audience behavior through incentivized sharing.”

According to the company website, they are “currently taking reservations.”

Compensation Plan

At this time, the Rippln MLM is not accepting funds, as they are in the “buzz phase” of their launch.  When I searched for concrete information on their site about the compensation plan, I received the following error message indicating that the document was not there:

Players(paid member/business builder) may join at age 16 without parental consent. To be a fan (nonpaid member), a child may be under age 16 but needs parental consent. Rippln is available as a fan in all countries. This is the list of counties that will be available to participate in the Rewards Program (paid member):

What to Do Next

A pyramid scheme is illegal and refers to when money is exchanged but there is no product or service rendered.  Does Rippln have products? The company says it will. There is also no money being exchanged at this time, so Rippln a scam?
