Success lies at the far side of inconvenience. In order to succeed, you must do things that unsuccessful people don’t, and do those things more often than unsuccessful people do.  Sitting on your butt complaining will not get you the things in life you dream of.  When I met Jerry Chen, I was stuck working without a dream and not achieving what I wanted. Jerry challenged me to change our current path, learn new strategies, and succeed. This was inconvenient because it made me get outside of myself, put in time after work and weekends to learn a new system, and reshape my personal goals.

Before my wife Nancy and I started working with our Jerry, our business had plateaued.   Since following a simple 5 step formula we are generating several hundred visits to our site and capturing free targeted leads every day.

Before Jerry, we were taught to hit up our “warm market”, meaning try to sell family and friends our system.  We alienated friends and pissed-off relatives trying to expand our business.  We also bought leads which worked for a while, but those leads were not targeted and we got so tired of the typical response, “I did not fill out a form online! I don’t know what you are talking about!”  Of course these people filled out a form, they just didn’t remember it otherwise how would we get their info?

Anyway, the quality of leads fell off the cliff after about a year, and our interest in marketing was getting pretty low.  We were making 200+ phone calls per day, my ear was ready to fall off.  We did not realize that calling leads all day wasn’t scale-able. If I call 200 leads per day to generate $1000 per week, do I call 1000 leads per day to make $5000 per week?

Heck, no!

There is no way that’s sustainable. The most important thing is that I could never convince anyone else to do that either, it is not duplicable.  It is not attractive to prospects to see our cauliflower marketer’s ear.  Scary.
